Read the care label first
Follow the care instructions on the exact garment. Similar-looking pieces may have different fibers, finishes and trims, so a general instruction cannot replace the label.
Keep the details in mind
Check closures, decorative trims and removable components before cleaning. Do not assume a garment is suitable for machine washing, tumble drying or ironing simply because another item in the collection is.
Store with care
Store garments clean and dry. Use storage that supports their shape; avoid hanging a heavy knit in a way that pulls at its shoulders. Check the individual care label before using any fabric treatment.
